June 27, 2024 – I’m soft-launching a new endeavor that I’ve been researching and building for several months: The JHoch Journal. This Substack site & newsletter will allow me to have more options over how I share my work than has been possible through the various social media platforms we all use. I’m hoping it will help me find more sustainability and a better connection with an audience, and I’m excited to expand my output, including more writing. If you happen to see this, consider subscribing. Everything is free to view right now, but there are options for financially supporting the publication. Eventually I will introduce a paywall for certain content, but that’s down the road. I’ve been working on fleshing it out and will be updating it regularly as we head into the Paris Olympics. Please let me know if you have any critiques or suggestions.

Interviews

April 22, 2022 – Becoming/Unstuck with Jessica Sojorne Libere.

A pretty big departure from the other podcasts I’ve been on. We talked a lot more about my motivations behind the work I pursue and more of my personal backstory. In doing so, I discuss why I think wrestling is so important and why I have devoted so much of my life to that work. Jess is a long-time friend, going back to college, and she’s an excellent interviewer. I really like the way she hears things and follows up. I highly recommend checking out the other episodes on her website which you can find after clicking through to this episode.
